Colli Perugini wines

The zone for the production of D.O.C. wines includes the towns of Deruta, Marciano, Fratta Todina, Monte Castello di Vibio, Piegaro in the province of Perugia and the hills of San Venanzo in the province of Terni.
The main basis for red wine is the traditional Sangiovese vine, but also Pinot Black, Montepulciano, Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo, Merlot and Barbera, which give different flavours to the wine according to their provenience.

For white wine the main basis is Trebbiano vine, along with Malvasia and Grechetto.
